The prices are very reasonable. My partner and I ordered an omelette to share, expecting one plate with extra plates for us to split it ourselves. However, they thoughtfully divided the meal for us! A lovely experience with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
I'm so glad we passed by this cafe on our way to check in our hotel in Scotts Valley. The next morning we were excited to try this place out since the food looked amazing! Prices were the same as pretty much any where else like Denny's or IHOP . Except this exceeds them both. It's like a home cooked meal, so good! Staff was nice and attentive to our table. We got there around 8:15 am and there was no wait. There is plenty of seating. It looks small when you first walk in but there is other dining area on the opposite side of the building. It does get pretty busy as it was starting to get busier when we're getting ready to leave. We will definitely come back when in the area again.
Great breakfast and lunch stop. Get the sweet potato fries! They're the best I've ever had. Friendly service and good value.
First time! 4-4.5 Came for the waffle (read reviews) Waffle was simple & good, i'd return. Genuine service, kind servers. Ate indoors, outdoor seating is a nice option when there is good weather. Ordered Special (w seasonal fruit) waffle eggs chicken sausage/bacon Iced coffee- Personally i like a creamy coffee we weren't a fan of the iced coffee. -0.5
We stopped in at Heavenly on a whim. Both the and the restaurant were FULL! We didn't pay attention, but the place was about 15 minutes from closing. Instead of turning us away, they seated us in an already closed area and served us quickly. Thanks to them! We ordered two burgers. Mine was a regular burger and was HUGE. At least a 1/2 lb. Cooked to order--medium. Hubs ordered a bacon and blue burger, and he said it was delicious! Fries were also hand cut and had skins on. Nice touch! Service was good, and even though we were imposing, they never made us feel unwelcome. We would definitely return to eat again.
3 meals for under $50, I'm so used to spending at least 70 haha. And the portions are BIG! Food was great Coffee is great Mayra was great We'll be back soon!
Nice roadside breakfast in Scott's Valley. Friendly staffs and good breakfast options, the salmon egg benedict is perfectly cooked. Recommended for breakfast/brunch in the area~
It was a nice sunny day and perfect weather to drop in for a bite at Heavenly Roadside Cafe's pet-friendly patio. The wait on this Sunday lunch hour was less than 10 minutes. For our 1st time here, we tried: * Crab Cake Salad - The 2 Maryland style crab cakes were awesome. Good size, fresh & tasty, minimal filler. Over a bed of fresh mixed greens salad with citrus slices, lemon vinaigrette, side of toasted sourdough. We'd come back for this one. * Huevos Rancheros - Eggs, black beans, salsa, light sprinkle of shredded cheese, over lukewarm corn tortillas. Nice fresh avocado slices on top, served with a side of breakfast potatoes. Perhaps a side of Mexican-style rice would have been more appropriate. For a supposed House Specialty, I wasn't so impressed. Service was friendly, prices are reasonable. Convenient stop for brunch/lunch between the South Bay and Santa Cruz.
Ambiance: it's literally a roadside place, spacious outdoor and indoor dining area, the inside is divided into two sessions by the narrow hallway Service: super friendly, fast and attentive, also accommodated with special requests Food: menu for standard items and specials for breakfast and lunch Crab Cake Benedict - **** with house made crab cakes, served with two poached eggs, fresh made hollandaise, the crab cake was lackluster, but the hollandaise sauce was good, would still recommend French Toast - *** served with syrup and butter, good presentation although a bit dry Price: generous portions and reasonable prices, about $30 plus for a very full filling meal
